Rotary Pool

a very Nice public pool to swim in..went many days with my two grand children and we had a Great Time for hours!!!!water Crystal clear and refreshing..and staff really nice, helpful and professional.... excellent outdoor pool in the middle of the city .....

I have to disagree with the above comment, regarding music. The music is not too loud at all. It's just right. The tunes are a wonderful mixture of classic pop/rock and current pop and country music. It's actually quite enjoyable to listen too. I can also hear everything else that is going on around me. The music also makes me want to stay at the pool longer. Some of the regulars I've talked to, love the music too....you can actually see that others are enjoying as well....as many are singing along in the pool and at poolside. I also love the staff / life guards at the Rotary Pool. The camaraderie between them is great to witness. Thanks for a great time and workout.

Loved visiting the pool today. The music made it even better. Hopefully there is enough interest from the community to keep it open. We will definitely be back this summer. If they get to stay open for next season, hopefully the city will recognize the need to upgrade the change rooms.

We love rotary pool. The lifeguards are fair and enforce the rules but are not all over the kids and let them still have fun. We go every single summer. There’s a deep end and a shallow end. They have a slide but you’ll have to pass the swim test before you take a slide down! We appreciate the Tim hortons free days and someHolidays are also free from the city. It's a fair deal to chill for free on a hot day. However the place isn't necessarily family friendly. Staff is super arrogant. Guests are NEVER right. Single parent with more than one child aged 7 and younger will be treated weird, or even humiliated. Our experience was bad enough to avoid this outdoor pool in the future. Thanks anyway!

We had a great time at the pool!Free all summer!!! Can't ask for much more than that! No shallow end for little kids but offer variety of floaties. Slide for those who can pass the swim test. Staff are so nice! Change rooms are low budget but does the trick! We'll be back again for sure! In comparison to other pools I give it a 3.

Rotary pool is a great public service. Apparently it's in need of a rebuild which is understandable given its age. What doesn't make sense is that the city wants to spend 4.9 million dollars to replace it. How could a concrete swimming pool cost 4.9 million dollars? Could we please place the planning and budgeting departments into a competitive bid process to see whether city staff or the private sector would be more reasonable? With city staff doing all of the planning and writing the specs, there doesn't seem to be any money left for the actual project!

This is one of the city of Oshawa finest outdoor pools. It is large enough to hold big groups. It also has the attendance of local kids groups. The staff and lifeguards who look after this pool are tremendous. They are very helpful very courteous and they always have a great big smiles on our faces. This is a fun pool to visit during the summer and don't miss it

The water is heated to a very comfortable temperature. There are outdoor Aquafit classes! So much fun. The change rooms are a bit old but they do the job.

Great pool!! Very well maintained for as long as I go there every summer. Very friendly, respectful staff. The only flaw I would have would be the loud music being played by the staff. They (kind of) turn it down a little, when asked ;-)
